Maybe he's a section A cross? I know from recent experience advertising on horsemart that it doesn't give an option for cross breeds (idxtb in my case). They might have mentioned it in the main text though!

No, they didn't mention it in the main text. Section A's do not reach over 12hh and welshies only come in solid colours - although a lot of welsh breeders are trying to change that!!!
Doesn't look very welsh anyhow

thats never a welsh A!! if a welsh is over 12.1? (I THINK) its no longer a sec A but a sec B.
