I left my 4yr breaker in the back field while I went X.C schooling to day, it is just past the horse walker next to mums garden. When I got back I went to get him in, he had some how open the gate and put him self on the walker... opening the gate is one thing, but standing on the walker instead of eating the lovely long grass on the garden??!! I PMSL at him, he was stood with his head at the gate of the walker, resting a back leg looking very happy- he must of walked on then backed up to get in position, he just whinnied at me and stayed there when he saw me!!
Bless him, hes so sweet!!!!

I was moving the fencing last year and B stole a coiled and tied up section of electric fencing and spent half an hour chucking it in the air and chasing it like a dog - at least it kept him occupied and stopped him trying to "help" me with the fencing

Pony has discovered that he can take his rug off! Yesterday and today I found his rug abandoned in the middle of the field with all the straps still done up (this is a full neck h/w t/o!!). He is fully clipped but obviously thinks he doesn't need a rug!!

So many things, Frankie is the king of all clowns, or so he thinks.

He likes to give me a wedgie when I'm picking out his feet, gently gets hold of any zips on your person and zips them up and down for hours at a time, he once found half a very squashed stoat after we'd topped a field and was picking it up and stomping on it, he undoes "things" like gates, knots, headcollars...

My TB did this last week and have no idea how he manage he couldn't of rolled - he was turned out on concrete for the day! There were no scratch marks.

And then there's my old pony who after I had bathed him removed is headcollar in order to roll on said concrete - needless to say on every future occasion he was put in his stable for a roll first!

I was sectioning a field with pony in the field. I had put the electric fence posts in, and was about to put the tape up to find pony was bending between the poles like he was at a gymkhana (as far as I know, he has never been to a gymkhana). He did this for hours - was great I didnt have to exercise him that day at all!

My mare was out in the field, it had been cold/wet when she was put out so she had her NZ rug on, but by the time I got there the sun was out and it was warm. Now mare didn't like being caught, and usually high-tailed it to the other end of the field if I came to the gate, but this day she stood looking grumpy (obviously uncomfortable in the heat with the rug on), so I chanced going into the field. "are you going to let me catch you?"
she glared at me.
Then she put her head down, picked up a clump of dirt and threw it at me! (hit me on the shoulder)
Act of defiance done she stood and let me catch her ...

heckova sense of humour that horse!

One of my boys is fab, I have often caught him trying to help much out or sweep up!
I keep a hoof pick (a fairly large one) in his window and sometimes even I struggle to get it out from behind the bars, the other day got to the yard and found him tapping on his door with his hoof pick, was really enjoying himself

maybe I should buy him a hammer and he can do a spot of diy for me!
The same one also has a massive tub for his hay, he often tries to throw it over his door.

My shetland likes to roll in mud, sand and sometimes puddles. Best of all his likes a nice crunchy gravel drive !

His field mates have hang-over-the-fence feed buckets. My Shetland pony looks for leftovers by rearing up and throwing himself against the fence long enough to do a little dance on his hind legs and make a grab for anything in the bucket!

Before I filled the fence in, he used to lean through, head butt the bucket off the fence and then eat whatever fell.

Needless to say, all the fence posts now have to be concreted in!
