My dad brought my 9 month old thoroughbred in from the field this afternoon, and when I got home from work he told me that she had had a pee when she got into the stable that was a custards yellow and green colour :S anybody have any idea about this?
Shes at grass during the day and on good quality soaked hay at night, stabled on straw. Fed dengie hifi and spillers stud and youngstock mix.
Help? Thanks :)

Is she otherwise normal, bright, sound and her usual self?

I'd recommend checking her again if you haven't already and if she isn't her normal self call the vet and ask their advise.

I don't know about green pee, but dark brown urine can be a sign of E.A.M and if she isn't herself I'd ask the vet to look her over just in case.

Thick yellow pee can be perfectly normal. Something to do with calcium crystals in the urine I think. I did ask my vet about it once years ago, I can't remember exactly what he said, but it was something along those lines!
