Funny horse - making own bed!!!

Sorry but I just had to share this with you as it made me laugh!

I did a thorough clean out yesterday after neddy was in for a few days cos of the snow

, I was in the process of putting in new shavings, cut away the polythene and tipped out the whole bale in one lump, I turned my back to get the shavings fork and before I could do anything she was pawing the bale and breaking up the shavings all on her own (saved me a job), she then decided that she would test out her newly made bed by rolling it in!

Sorry but had to share as it did make me chuckle, anyone else's this mad?

LOL my mare does it too - when she had a full bed before I got matting she used to make a pillow in the banks too

Yep ive got one too lol , i have to make sure there are no bags of shavings about when he`s around the stables as he`ll open a bag and make a bed up anywhere .

My mare is a nightmare! Put clean shavings down, and she rakes up the whole bed.
