Cass my first pony years and years ago, came with a couple of old second hand rugs with her.
One, belonged to another horse, and had a name stitched into it [albeit, badly stitched lol!].
Anyway, back then I was going to unpick the name off, but just never got round to it for some reason.
Today, nearly 7 years later, picked up said rug, forgetting all about this till now, and just read what name is stitched on it......'Sparkles'. And, his correct size too. Funny how things work out!!

[Sparkles/Sparks is my blue eyed 'baby coblet' for record :p ]

Indeed!!!!

It's the same with my TB...tracing back in his passport, everywhere he was at some point [whether it be vets or racing yards etc], I can link him to 'me'/where I was at that time over the years also, just never with him! Odd how life works out.

Obligo photo :p Not new as have none new!

He he you're right ;-) I'm just too boringly practical but I'm hoping Christmassparkles will tell us that no-he was already named and that her sig name was also in place before the horse came along...:-D unusual looking pony too with an unusual tale ;-)

Thankyou for all the lovely comments!

He was already named! :)

My story how I came to owning him, was quite unplanned and I still cannot believe I own him. Happy to PM anyone with our little tale :D

He's come into your life for a reason with such wisdom in those knowing bluePixie-like eyes. Poetic enough for you billie1007? I'm trying very hard here :-O

Me please - I love a good story and I am waiting in my car for half an hour as I am early for an appointment :) can't reply as on phone though x

Hahahaha I'm not normally all flowers and poetry....but does make me wonder sometimes with how certain things have worked out in my life. In hindsight anyway.

Not horsey but still spooky - my OH showed me a pciture of himself aged six playing in his favourite toy, a pedal along plastic car. My name was spelt out in the number plate!

I often say to my lad "you plonker", he has a saddle cloth with Rodney CT embroidered on it ( only fool's and horses) I only bought it because it's his colours.
PS
Christmas Sparkles, to save sending all the pm's just tell your tale on here

It is funny how things work out! We have been given back a mare which I always regretted selling 4yrs ago, just through a chance email. Sadly she has kissing spines but has had treatment and is rideable. She was sold on to another lady, not the original one we sold her too and she was originally my daughter's horse. I am so happy to have her back, though she isnt quite the same horse - yet!
