Funny incident

I had to do fast exit from my stable last night.I went up at 6 to skip out as we had blizzards I thought I would add extra bale of shavings .Ive not done this when she has been in her stable before ,went in prepared , the bag was cut open incase she didnt like plastic .Not bothered at all but acted really impatient, before I had turned my back to get the fork she had trashed the new block of shavings and rolled in it.I stood at the door killing myself with laughter she kicked shavings all over me .I knew she loved rolling in new bed as her rugs were always covered both sides in shavings but had never caught her before didnt think she liked a audience.Didnt know I could move so quick.

lol, they are quick when they want to be!!!

I put down bedding in with two foals today that are stabled together. Before I had a chance to put the bed down properly they were fighting over which one got to roll first!!

My old share mare a few years ago used to LOVE it when there was that big, unbroken up pile of shavings. She was 22 but used to jump on them, paw them all over the place then roll in them like a nutter for ages

Isn't it nice to see them so thrilled with something so small? Even if you do have to dash out of the way! lol
