Funny lump in ear?

Spotted a little lump in T's ear, yellowish in colour. Its in his 'bad ear' but the ear doesn't look inflamed or infected elsewhere. Tried to get a picture but with all the hair its quite hard
He doesnt seem to mind me prodding it...

Anything to worry about do you think?

Looks like a cyst to me.

Wouldn't a cyst hurt though?
I wondered if it was a sign that another ear infection may be on its way...

As its the ear he has had problems with before I would want the vet to have a look it and ask if it could be connected to previous problems.

Probably a good idea DG. It's been nearly a week since I last visited the vets, they're probably wondering where I've got too anyway
