Had a dreadful day at work yesterday, so decided to go for hack instead of schooling pn the lanky boy. All was well, off we go, trotted around our usual 30 minute hack route, and the farmer had cut and baled some haylage so as it was windy I thought I would do a shortcut across the field. We walked along the edge of a wood a rabbit jumps out, Sov whips round drops me and then gallops off across the field. Where I live they grow crops mostly, so there isn't many fences. Anyway cut a long story short it takes 6 cars 11 people and 1/2 an hour to catch the bugger. Bless my neighbours. Today I am very sore partly from running after the bloody sod!!!

A friends 18hh warmblood escaped from paddock last week, a hot air balloon landed in it and the horse was off. He was found stalking a very non horsey dog walker on an airfield about 3 hours later. Its not good for your heart, is it!
