Anyone use one and if so what did you think ? Would it be suitable to use on a clipped horse who is currently changing coats and is at that ‘in between stage’ ?

thanks

Got one for the lab....brilliant! Didn't know you could get horse sized ones. I use one of those flexible steel blades with different sized teeth on each side, made for GSDs. Gets lots of hair out without covering you in it. Presumably the furminator will be the same.

I bought a large dog one (much cheaper) and when moulting it is brilliant, but better on some horses than others (thick haffy hair it is great with, thin tb hair less good)

I've got the yellow one. use it on the dogs, cats & horses. Theyre fab. Just make sure u get it off ebay or something - don't pay the ridiculous shop prices! :)

I found it great for the dog but cr@p for the horses, I use one of these for them instead:

My friend has one so I borrow hers :)!

Brilliant on my Welshie and the dogs but not so good on the Irish cob.

Think it depends on the 'type' of hair your horse has as to how good it is :)
