Took me ages to write that! My phone Insists its not a word!!

I'm thinking of investing in one. Are they worth the money?
Also not 100% sure which size/style to go for.
It's for a collie- smooth haired but still a decent coat and two small labs.
They come in short coat or long coat, all my dogs are in the middle coated!
They are also not big or small dogs!
What variety do I buy?

I have a soft slicker brush (I think!) already. I was getting sucked into the furminators as they claim to reduce moulting by 90%....am I being gullible!

Can't advise on dogs, but I have one for the cats (a dog-sized one!). One of the cats isn't too bad, but for the other the Furminator is an essential tool - she has in incredibly thick coat (not long-haired) that seems to have multiple undercoats. The old hair seems to get stuck under the topcoat and the Furminator is the only thing that takes it out. An ordinary slicker brush is useless on her.

Horse and cats get done with the yellow one. Great for cat undercoat, it's like a fur fight once I'm done.

I have a labrador and I have to say the furminator is absolutely brilliant, I couldn't live without it. It's better than a shredding blade because it catches most of the hair - I have the one for long coats.

Yes definitely get one! I've got a large one. You'll be amazed by how much loose hair comes out after just a couple minutes brushing. They are brilliant for reducing the amount of fur left all over your sofas and carpet, and I'm sure I'd have had a nervous breakdown ages ago had I not bought one for my Golden Retrievers.
