Posting on behalf of a friend who is having to consider these options.

Does anyone have any experience of riding after either of these two procedures?
Any info good or bad will be much appreciated.

Thanks

I was considering the nerve thing but tried acupuncture on the advice of a harley street 2nd opinion and fixed it although it was the 2nd acupuncturist I tried.

I am currently riding in a removable cast after a serious wrist break 6 weeks ago, (both bones, both out of place) . It is not causing me any problems to ride with a 'fused' wrist. Can I suggest your friend tries a very strong wrist brace which totally prevents her flexing her wrist, to see how she would feel riding with a fused wrist? My husband has a fused wrist but does not ride. It does not seem to restrict his extensive DIY activities :)

Let me know of she wants a recommendation of which one, I have a variety!

I have electronic de -nervation for my back problem, the nerve is burned for a few seconds which stops it sending the pain signals to the brain. They do grow back eventually, usually about two to three years later.

I have no idea if the same procedure works on wrists, but it might be an alternative to having them cut, which sounds a bit final
