Hi all
We have a delightful chorkie bitch now very much part of the family. She has just finished her first season, and has integrated well in our home with our 11yo patterdale cross and chihuaha. However, whilst the other two are utter gannets and eat everything and anything offered, our chorkie is rather a fussypants.
She is bright eyed, in trim shape and our vets have absolutely no concern that she needs to put on much more weight, she sees them regulaly as part of her health plan, so this is more of an enquiry than a panic. We use royal canin chihuahua dry food and with that they have chopped up roast chicken or mackerel. You can slightly predict my next bit Im sure, but she is only touching the chicken or fish, and leaving the dry. This has been for a good few weeks now, is it a case of if she's hungry she'll eat it? It doesn't matter if I add a little water / natural stock or keep it dry. Is there a 'tastier' small bite I should be trying? Is she just being a diva and onto a good thing? I've never had a fussy eater ever, canine or human, so at a loss.
