I've had my phalene puppy for 3 weeks now and she is doing very well apart from her eating... She is on natural instinct puppy (chicken) and eats sparingly. She doesn't eat in the morning, eats at lunch and doesn't eat until very late in the evening. She eats if you put it right under her nose but I'm worried she isn't getting enough food. Should I try another flavour even though its adult? Any way I can try and get her to eat at normal times? She is just over 4 months old now and weighs 2.3 kg. Any advice appreciated!

If she is healthy, and has plenty of energy I wouldn't worry in the slightest. Anything she hasn't eaten in 5-10 mins I would take away. She won't starve herself and will soon realise that she may be a bit hungry until the next meal.

according to the breed specs she should only weigh 3-4 kg as an adult so 2.3 now sounds fine to me, at4 months i would only be feeding twice a day. if she is bright alert active and not skin and bone dont worry about it the worst thing you can do is keep offering food and putting it under her nose. put the food down and call her so she knows it is there and then leave her alone to eat-after 10 mins pick the food up and take it away then dont give/offer food again till the next meal time. aim to get into a routine
