fussy with hay

i have just collected some hay and although it all looks nice appears to be 2 sorts.my 3 all love the fine stalkier hay with seeds but are turning there noses up at the greener flatter hay.hopefully i can ring and change the bales they arent keen on but its a pain.they are all food orientated and normally cant eat quick enough but hay is too expensive to waste so hopefully not too many to change.i know some people may say they willeat if hungry but theyre not.any one else had this

Try steaming it that's what I do for my young fussy horse.

I had exactly this problem last year when they would only eat half the batch. I stopped feeding the hay they didn't like, but guess what? At the end of winter they decided it was quite yummy & made a change from the original stuff!
