Well I'm shattered. As is Callie....

Had a stupidly early morning to get ready and leave, with a fantastic friend dragging herself out of bed and to my yard to take us down their after our car blew the transmission on Friday, me having no sleep for 2 days and having to have Holly reshod two days after she was shod!!! I think things were trying to stop me going!

Got down there very easily but it was manky weather, especially in white!

Pulled the girls off the trailer and polished them up and took them to the ring. Holz was facinated with all the arenas and you could see her looking for the jumps! Callie was being good and not leaping around too much.

Did our bit, Callie didn't show herself off brilliantly, she was really really strong to trot up, and just wanted to canter everywhere!! Turned her loose and she tried to eat the plants, knock the rossettes off the wall then didn't fancy trotting much! She looked very shiney though

Didn't get a place with either of them which was a bit dissapointing, judge just said to me that she was a little pony

but as a friend pointed out we did very well to get there with our first foal.

Think I saw a few people, didn't get to chat though.

And Holz is curly and just a little fed up with Callie!!

Well done to you - they both look fab as always and as your friend says - what a fantastic acheivement to get there with your very first foal.

Laban's owner was there in the afternoon and was upset to have missed seeing your girl. She's going to look out for the piccies on the photographer's site though!

I thought your girl was lovely and, like you say, you qualified for it and went so that counts for lots Perhaps next year the judge wont be from a show pony background!

Oh I didn't realise she was going!! I killed my phone and lost all my numbers so couldn't let her know I was going!

Good for you for getting and going there; a great achievement, well done. Whatever the result, it sounds like you all had a good time and it was a good experience for them both.

I'm so glad the judge recognised them as ponies, very observant!

As you say....you still qualified to the Champs, which in itself is no mean feat, especially with over 500 original entries across the UK.. So WELL DONE anyways.....

Yes I saw you! Our car blew up on Friday so very kindly my best friend did the towing for us so I didn't want to bore her by sticking around too late - we had left home at 7am!

like everyone says, just to qualify is a great acheivement, and with your first foal, thats even better! I wish I had seen you but was stuck in the commentay box all day and we couldnt see your ring from there.
