gaah Poll Guards

Why can you not buy proper poll guards any more? I'm sure clever people on here can direct me to proper padded (not silly neoprene) old fashioned poll guards. OR does someone have one knocking around in their tack room they want to flog.
It's alarming that so few people use or buy them any more - I've known so many nasty accidents which would have been prevented with one.

Let me know if you find some - Asti has cut her head the last twice she's travelled and I dont know what on - can't find ANYTHING and am very puzzled. She's cutting herself on her head across from her eye (on the edge of her blaze) and the neoprene caps won't make any difference. I've started travelling her on the opposite side of the trailer just in case or until I figure out what on earth she's cut it on...
