What a waste of a day!!

Naturally, I got all the way to Gatcombe before I found out it was cancelled, thus wasting a lot of time and money, a valuable opportunity for a lie-in and some small amount of sanity!!

The only good thing was that, after having a fall out with my farrier on Thursday and therefore facing the prospect of having to event a horse with just front shoes on and no stud holes, I managed to get the event farrier to shoe her and he has agreed to take her onto his list

Goring next Sunday hopefully!!

I've got an sj lesson with Mark Phillips tomorrow so will be heading back down to Gatcombe but at least she'll get out the lorry and do something this time!!

Oh how irritating! At least Moonie travels well, I'd hate to spend hours trying to load and drive a bad traveller down there only to turn around! Have fun tomorrow anyway

What an absolute pain in the ASS !! Its just the petrol money isnt it....I know that I just wouldnt be able to throw it all away for nothing like that. Well I suppose the new shoes is a major help!!

He shoes at Heathfield so I'm going to take her there unless he has time to come to my yard too. He did a really excellent job.
I have got his number if you want though!!
