Went out to check on ponies last night & noticed sharer had put D's wraps on wrong legs, so take off to refit & what do I find, not a pony leg but a heffalump leg!
AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!
So no BSJA for us today
Panicked at first as it looked like tendon, but think he has just managed to kick himself while on the runway yesterday. So vet has been & gone (Sunday call out, ouch!) Poor brave donkey got a jab in the neck & 2 in the bum, he trotted up sound so nothing sinister (THANK GOD!)
So bandaged & box rest for 3 days
Also pleased though, as the vet commented on how very well behaved he was poor soul looked very worried during his jabs but didn't flinch at all
So hopefully should only be a setback for a week, fingers crossed. Gah horses!
