We went to look at a nice ISH type on Sat (with a dealer), both daughter and I had a good feeling about her and arranged to have a 2nd viewing on Tues. This is only the second horse daughter has wanted a 2nd viewing (struggling to find something to compare with her cob that she lost in Nov). We were just sitting and discussing how we would approach her training schedule and generally getting carried away - which I though was a good sign (am worried daughter is getting a bit depressed). Anyhoo get a call from the dealer saying she had a viewing on horse today and taken a deposit.

I don't blame the dealer - bird in the hand and all that, just so disappointing for Sophie, an Ice cream cone with sprinkles hasnt' done much to help.

That's what I have told her - the right one will come, eventually. Have one to possibly see next weekend, he has been off work after having a wolf tooth out - perhaps fate will decree he is the one. I have noticed that more seem to be selling now, but don't want to make any hasty decisions

I have always been told that things happen for a reason, at the time it never seems to make any sence, but later on you will look back and say it was meant to be.I do hope your daughter finds what she is looking for.

That is frustrating, I went through similar as you may recall. It feels like a never ending search but the right one will come along, good luck with your continued search

Thanks - I just hope we can get sorted before I pop. Horse hunting with a bump is tiring, not sure I want to cart a new born along too!
