Could posibly mean gait abnormality, it may have a leg that will make an irregular movement, it is a weakness and will mean you would have to take it easy on it. I would ask the owner for specific details on it and how or if anything has been done to counteract any effect it may have such as physio or special shoeing

That's strange as vets are usually more specific than that. I note that it doesn't state which hindleg it is. Maybe the vets just accidentally missed a word out like "shortened gait".... only guessing though !! I read a vets report the other day and it looked like the vet had gone off for a coffee half way through writing the comments section up as it was left accidentially incomplete. Emm.
