Baby dog who is a year old this week had her first season in July, she has had a phantom since end of July. Been on galas top for three weeks first week it didn't work second week it has and she is back to normal.

But....she stopped it two days ago and all the phantom signs are coming back again, whining, clingy, holding things in her mouth, tired all the time. Thankfully the aggression she showed the puppy and older dog hasn't come back yet but I'm worried it will. She is so unhappy.

Has anyone had this? Vet is speaking to a senior vet about spaying her on the galastop while it's keeping her hormones low.

I would be advised by the vet re the timing of the spay and then,go ahead..the phantoms as you probably know will reoccur and also predispose the dog to mammary tumors.
I realize that your question relates to the specific effects of when to spay regarding hormone levels ,and is complicated by the resurgence of her phantom symptoms...only the vet can really tell you the best time in this case, and there may be no really ideal time in a case like this ,if her hormones don't get back to normal in good time.
At least she's had one season so will be more mature to do her spay.

I used galastop on my last female who had phantoms, and it actually made her very reactive whilst she was on it to everyday noise...even the clicking of my cars indicator would set her off whining/ barking....as soon as she came off it all odd quirks went away,so we didn't use it again and spayed the dog.
If you look on the box,it does mention some dogs may have reactive symptoms to galastop...maybe your dog is reacting to the drug and not actually returning into phantom pregnancy state?
