Sorry if this has been asked before.

Just wondered if anybody had used turnout rugs by Gallop before? I usually stick to weatherbeeta but have just spotted a Gallop rug for a reasonable price but wanted to do a bit of a background check as never had this make before.

Not the best, but Ok for short term, it won't last long term!!

I recently got a gallop rug from fast tack direct and it was great , I was really pleasantly surprised ,It was a last minute order as needed rug asap as horse had ruined old rug !!

i only paid £38 for it , free postage , it arrived so quickly , and is really good decent rug !!! full neck , with 320g filling so nice and warm , and the leg straps are really clever , they are made from elastic all the way from top to bottom so stretch with horses movement !!

I bought a half fly and half waterproof rug of theirs and it fits lovely, he wore it alot and is still in mint condition I love it, would defo buy other rungs in their range if I needed to

Have a checked no fill Gallop rug which I bought on impulse several years ago at an event for £22. Great lightwt turnout rug for beginning and end of seasons. Like Treacle, love the elasticated leg straps - so much so that I swap them on to my other outdoor rugs. Strong and well made, a good size and smart looking.

Great for short term. My horse has had two, both were warm and cosy but leg straps and belly straps came off within a week. Still have them now for when other rugs are wet x

I've got the more expensive model ( the 2000 denier Ultimate one) and it's a really good rug. Sadly Roo outgrew it before he had a chance to wear it so I need to sell it and buy two sizes up. Gr.
