gallops bucks/berks??

hiya i've just done the horses for heores sponsored ride and enjoyed the gallop up the race track at the end and have decided i want to go out somewhere where i can hire(use) the gallops!!
does anyone know anywherein bucks/berks where you can go??
(i'm stabled in maidenhead so the closer to here the better but willing to travel.)

Plenty of gallops around Lambourn. Not sure how you go about accessing them though. Maybe contact a couple of trainers and ask

i live in lambourn u wouldnt be able to use the main gallops but theres 2 that u cauld go on it the afternoon but i no theres a couple of xc courses that have gallops as well that u can hire i would look on the internet

Not all weather but in ipsden (between wallingford and reading) there is a permissive brideway (so not on any map) some on the flat mostly up hill steep and less steep. it's a circulair round farm land on very wide grass strip next to the farm fields. at our yard (checkendon) we call them "the gallops" and they are a lot of fun and a great workout with amazing chiltern views to boost. We normally take about 45-60 just to go round the track, mind you that's not all at a gallop
