I'm looking for a dressage youngster and have heard of this website (Gamblethorp havovarians, nr Leeds). Anyone know anything about them before I phone?

I can highly recommend them but I am more than a little biased as I have had two from them! They are all chosen very carefully and they cater for all pockets. I have been more than pleased with my two. They are treated like horses and when a friend had a look at them recently she commented on how laid back they are. Denise knows her breeding inside out and the temperaments of the stallions. I particularly wanted something that would not be too sharp due to my inexperience with youngsters so did not even look at the ones that Denise thought would not be suitable. I know many people who have had them from her and they are never dissappointed. They are very straight people to deal with. Good luck and give her a ring!
 
please whatever you do make sure you have it 5 star vetted plus xrays. my friend has had at least 3 off Denise and had problems with them all (and were not talking small amounts - think she paid at least £10k for one of her foals)
 
I have a friend aswell who has three (now 5,6 and 7yr old) and is highly delighted with all three and hasn't had problems with any of them. That's horses I suppose. Keep an open mind and have a look anyway.
 
yes its the luck of the draw (my friends oldest will be 7 this year youngest being 4) and i know horses are horses but from my friends experience of buying rom Denise I wouldnt purchase from her
 
Yes I am the friend who has had 3 off denise and I have been to Germany when she selects her horses and would buy off her again all my horse's had vetting and the vet even commented on how good the horse where. I have one who qualified for the potential young event horse championships . yes it is the luck of the draw with any horse but would highley recommend she has had at least 4 qualify for the YH championships and many many more go on to success jumping. she is fair and would not rip you off not like a lot of people out there. I know she had had many a repeat customer. If you are worried Please PM me. honestly I would buy another if I had room.
 
Daisy you said you would not buy from Denise due to your friends experiance but she did keep going back and buy 3! so she must have been happy
