It's best not to feed garlic as it upsets the gut bacteria. There was a fashion for feeding it in 1980s but we learned better.

Gosh, that old garlic thing is still around? It's been known for ages that not only does it not work (to repel flies, was it? Or "cleanse the blood" or something?), it is actually very irritating to the gut and can be quite harmful.

It's amazing how many supposedly knowledgeable people think feeding it is a good idea.

I fed it for years and years...
Can't say that I ever had a problem that I could attribute it to. But. Do I feed it now? No.
There's too much to say it's either more harm. than good/a waste of money x
