Does anyone know about Gaskyn’s yard in Slinfold? It was marked as sold very recently but now is back on the market.

This is the one https://www.equestrianproperty4sale.com/OCUImages/3004_BRC_5262_1_A1.pdf

My in-laws are interested in buying it, it’s their dream - but can’t get a viewing yet as they haven’t sold their place.

We wondered if anyone knew if it’s as good as it looks on the sales particulars, or why the last sale might have fallen through - does anyone have local knowledge about the Slinfold area?

Anyway just a random post in case anyone knows, thanks guys!

Slinfold’s a nice area, close to Horsham (and easy trains to London if needed). There is a lot of housing being built around the Horsham periphery though so worth doing some research

I would definitely look at what soil type it’s on as if it’s Wealden clay it gets very waterlogged in winter meaning turn out can be limited. Bridleways are limited as well if hacking is of importance.

Ditto this. I have ridden around that way on endurance rides. It is a lovely area but the clay is really really sticky.
