How do horses get these?

What is the treatment?

I believe that the vet has to scope them first to confirm but what is the treatment after that?

Im just wondering as considering having my horse scoped and on another post someone mentioned that the total vets bill cost with treatment was just over 5k (scoping approx £150ish )

I am insured so thats not a prob.
