Gastric Ulcers

Hiya,

so my mare has just been diagnosed with grade 2 gastric ulcers and has been put on a month of gastrogard. I've been told that after the medication finishes, there is quite a high chance the ulcers will return.

Is there anything I can give her as a preventative to stop them from returning? e.g. in her food?

Mine's on Egusin SLH. It's ££££££, but it's worked really, really well. He's far better on that than omeprazole.
