My Warmblood Gelding has recently been showing signs of ulcers, for example he used to get extremely excited for his dinner and now he won’t and will leave a tiny bit at the bottom, the past week he has been swishing his tail and flicking his back end when doing his girth up, riding wise he is only good doing flatwork and hacking he now refuses to jump and do polework
He is fed on Alfa A oil, top spec comprehensive balancer, conditioning cubes and hay and hayledge
He is a very stressful boy and has bad anxiety so we have put him on a calmer anyway, am I being paranoid or should I call a vet? Thank you

Assuming things are still the same, I would definitely talk to vet at the very least. Many horses have ulcers that don’t get diagnosed early on and certainly some of the things you mention would make me suspicious. I have had 2 horses with them. Both displayed different symptoms. Good luck!
