as above my vet thinks this is what my dog has but i would like anyone on here whos has had a dog with this to tell me their recovery time and symptons . my springer has lack of appetite for 24-48 hrs after being sick then eats his food again hes on chicken and rice tiny meals regularly, normal temperature, bloods and x rays and scans been done showing nothing but gas , picks up fairly quickly after vomiting and enjoys his walks still, weight loss is 3 kg over 10 -14 days back from vets today and got to try small meals for a few days to see if he can keep it down. next step if not is stomach biopsy to see if he has cancer hes 7 yrs old.

Mine had this, he ate a mouldy sausage that was left on the dog field mad
Symptoms didn't show up for about 24 hours and by then he was totally off his food, being sick and crying everytime he moved so took him to the vets and he had antibiotics and tramadol. Took him a few weeks to get back to normal

My friends Springer was like this and it was discovered he had eaten part of a towel, initial xray and scan didnt show anything but gas. He had to have an op but is alright now.
