Gatcombe(2)/SoE Intermediates

sort of aiming the mare for one of the two... which one is kinder or is there a nicer one around that time?

thats too early for us i think... i want to do a few novices first... is the autumn gatcombe the same as the spring one?

I think Gatcombe is a lovely Intermediate bold yet neither over complicated or particularly technical. I don't know SoE.

Vaguely know the intermediate fences at SofE as have walked the course - bold and solid, has a big quarry complex and i think three waters for the intermediates (though not sure). SJ always causes its fair share of problems - always up to height and technical - though its probably better hearing this from someone who has actually ridden the SJ and XC courses there!!
