What is the restrictions on the novice champs at gatcombe

can horses have BE points

Yes equivilent of an OI I think certainly horses must be qualified for Intermediate and at grade 2 or below at close of entries I think.

I think that's at time of qualifying - they can be grade 1 at time of champs as long as not qualified for Open champs. Full rules on website and in BE mag...
