Gate House RXC1 fitting question

Im interested in trying an RXC1, but am aware that not all makes of riding hats fit all people, so if you have a Gatehouse RXC1, what have you had previously?

Obviously I would get one fitted by a qualified fitter, but before I make a wasted journey to the tack shop I wanted to know if it may suit me

I've got one, and love it.....

Hats I have had in the past which fitted...

Champion skull
CO pro II skull
CO Ayr 8 riding hat

Hats which don't fit me due to head shape

Gatehouse HS1
CO 4 star

I have my RXC in large (normally 7 1/8 in a riding hat). Hope that helps...

The fitter I bought mine from at Burghley did tell me that there were possibly going to be discontinued, so if you want one I'd suggest buying soon.

I have one, have previously had various Charles Owen.

I had to send mine back because the mesh covering the vents came loose but they did replace the hat for me. Unfortunately it happened again although the hat is now 3 yrs old so I just replaced it and went back to Charles owen

I've had 2 RXC1, 1st one replaced as front vent fell out a month into use.
2nd one came to end of shelf life as was over 3 yrs old last month, so went to replace it.
V odd as the ones I tried on didn't fit or were as comfy as existing.
Now brought a Champion Pro II skull instead. None of the other champions with peaks fit v well. The Champion ventair and also the PRO Ultimate didn't fit as nicely as the pro 2.

HS1 and 2 and any other Gatehouses never have fitted.
Kids own did fit.
I'm an oval shape...

I loved that last rxc1......

I have a RXC1 (although it's been relegated since buying my Kask Dogma).

Previously I had a Charles Owen Showjumper XP. The HS1 categorically didn't fit my head.

Before my RXC1 (bought six months ago) I had a Champion Junior velvet hat and an Uvex of some description.
