Anyone got any feedback on the gatehouse Chelsea? Love the look of the conquest but it doesn't seem to fit with the new rules so considering the Chelsea as an alternative.

My friend has a Chelsea and it looks really smart. I tried one at Olympia and while I liked the look it was completely the wrong shape for my head
 
Ooh, I wonder when the new conquest will appear, and how much it will cost. Both the Chelsea and conquest look quite affordable at the moment. I need one pretty soon due to a strap malfunction on my current show hat.

Muddy grey, hope you don't mind me asking but what shape head do you have. Mind is a really large oval so I've had issues with some hats fitting previously!

Love it. Wasn't so keen on the matte ones but might get one for home as easier to clean. Really comfortable & light! :) Fits me well. Normally I'm a harry hall person & have always struggled for a nice smart show hat that fits well. (Harry Hall def oval shaped!!)
 
I have just bought a suede Chelsea pleased with it light and well ventilated I usually wear a skull hat all the time so it makes a nice change
 
I owned the Conquest (bought last year) absolutely love it, but as it doesn't conform with BE rules, I have just purchased a Chelsea in navy suede with bling 😁. I tried it last week at a comp, one day have to say it fits just as well as the conquest and is just as comfortable and has the removable lining which I like so I can keep it clean. So for now the conquest is my everyday hat Chelsea is my comp hat.
 
I have a Conquest and love it but the Chelsea doesn't fit me at all - had several Gatehouse staff trying to get it to fit me with various liners but it just doesn't. Had to go for the Gatehouse Challenger instead. Kind of wishing I'd waited for the Conquest mark II now as it looks really nice. Oh well - probably won't be long before I fall off on my head and need another new one!
