Gazehound nearly got you another doggie today!!

Was going to the feed merchants which takes me through Delamere Forest. Had stopped to let another car through and a greyhound literally ran into my car from the forest!! He was OK but looked a bit confused. He had a collar and a coat on. As I went to get out of the car and grab him he ran back into the trees.
I stopped and checked on my home 20 minutes later and there was no sign of him so hopefully he found Mum.

Good looking chap though.

Poor little thing, I hope he managed to head back and find his mum, I've had one of mine take off in the past and cross a road and four fields before I could get her back and she frightened herself stupid

Florimell did it once, she just took off after another dog played a little more roughly than usual and scared her, we were at Frodo's old yard and she crossed a really busy road and ended up in an equally busy shopping centre car park, I literally lost 10 years. She was found by Frodo's rider, after the longest ten minutes of my life, shaking under a shelf in an aisle at the chemist's
