I ordered the derby house training aid with roler in january, I have been trying to get some answers as to where it is and I have just got a letter saying they wont be getting any in until APRIL!! im so anoyed I could have bought another one by now!!!

In general it's always bad reports that your hear about DH, like you say, you could of bought one from a tack shop by now!

Dont think I'll ever buy anything from there!
 
I had exactly the same - ended up getting a real Pessoa and a roller from Robinsons, who delivered the next day! I was advised that the DH one was not as good quality, all though of course I couldn't possible comment on that as I never actually got to see one

By the way, I have sold my horse now so have a nearly new Pessoa and roller which is going spare....PM me if you want more info

I got fed up of them too - but I have found a few other websites that fulfill all my needs (on account of having no really decent tack shops around me).

All of these have great service, and have always contacted me really quickly if there has been a problem. All of them have a much better service than DH.
 
Horsewise in Penryn is ok - and I heard this weekend that they are building up their stock again over the next couple of weeks. Julie their is always really good at ordering stuff in if they don't have it in stock.

But TBH you can't beat website for getting what you want at a good price, and when you want it. But I do feel a bit bad sometimes for not supporting my local tack shop.
 
Unless I can go and get I from the shop I don't bother with them, it took me 4 months to get my thermatex and they phoned me up 3 times because they didn't have the size I'd asked for written down

How rubbish is that?!

I bought that exact thing from DH in the sale last year (I live 10 mins from the shop). They had a huge pile of them that never seemed to diminish each time I went in. Hard to believe they sold every single one since then.
 
I ordered tendon boots and a bridle and they never even came, i rang them up and told them about it and they said that they didn't have any record of me paying even though my credit card told me that i had spent the money i had been saving up for 2 months!!! ridiculous!!
 
Brought a Stubben bridle form them, ans sent it back as it cracked on throatlash where the buckle rests and this was after being throughly oiled and wiped after each use. Phoned them up and they said send it back and we could either have a replacement or refund. So sent it back, and the next but one day it was back, and Derby house saying that this is what sould happen after use, and no fault was found. Took it to are local saddlery and he said that there was a fault with that part, and he even came out saw it on the pony and looked at it after, during riding the cheackpiece broke, which droped the bit suddley and scared the horse resulting in it bolting he than stopped at a hedge and turned, smacking my leg agaist a wooden telegraph pole, resulting in broken knee. Sent photos of broken bridle back to Derby House with a letter from saddlery and they said nothing more could be done, so sent bridle back and cancelled order for over £200, and will not recommened them to anyone
