Hi All,

Just wanting to know if anyone has used a Gel-Eze Half Sheepskin pad? And if so, how do you rate them?

I have been suggested i should get one for my horse but they are quite pricey!!

Brilliant, I have a couple of friends who use them, I'd watch that it doesn't affect the fit of the saddle though as they are quite fat, is the person who suggested it your saddler ?
 
Was there a particular reason why you choice this pad over others?

My reason for looking at them, is that my horses saddle fits but he doesn't move aswell in it, as another saddle i have for him and have been suggested that one of these are really good for shock absorbing and distributing weight evenly over the horses back.

Did you notice a difference in your horses work, when you used one of these?

Hi NoiseyGirl,

It was actually the guy who comes out and massages him (Can't think of the correct name for him). He has one once a month and he always seems tight/sensitive in his back. I brought my horse in May and had a new saddle fitted then but he is now on working livery, so brought a saddle that i don't mind not being looked after aswell, as my other one and that was fitted a month ago. Both saddles fit him nicely. He just doesn't move as good in the newest one and a little reluctant to work over his back at times.
