Has anyone used one? Is it any good? Does it make the horse sweaty? Its the one that looks like a clear plastic rectangle with holes and I think you cut it too size.

I didn't know Barnsby did one. I've just googled it and it looks quite thick to me it it has neoprene on top of ordinary numnah thickness? I'm really looking for something quite thin. Used a thorowgood numnah for a long time but that rolls when we jump. Tried a limpet pad and it didn't stick at all and the thickness (although it was the thin kind) meant the saddle had no shape and just rolled. Was fairly happy with the prolite non slip pad but saddler says it is too small for the saddle, so I am searching again. It's very kind of you to offer to lend it. Is it something you no longer use? If so I would be happy to have a conversation about it! This was the one I was wondering about

I've got a Gel-Eze wither pad I bought before coming out here 'just in case' I had a play with it on PF and it's quite hard to get straight, but it squishes down very flat although it DOES leave circular 'bumps' all over horse's back

It deffo keeps saddle from slipping and it's nice that it's so squishy. Can't comment further than that though!

HI, i use an Impakt pad on my horse as it offers fantastic protection and doesn't move and neither does the saddle. He gets a little sweaty with it but they are beathable and recommended highly and have to say I am a complete convert. I also have a Barnsby grip pad which is also really good and because of the way the grip side is sort of checkered it allows airflow and they don't sweat much at all. The neoprene type bits on the top just give protection in theat area and stick the numnah to the saddle and I think these are the closest you can get to a normal numnah that doesn;t move. Prolite one wasn't good at all, tried the expensive one and was hugely disappointed. Hope this helps!
