Im looking to invest in one for my new pony as shes really lacking in muscle on her back and i want her to be as comfy as possible.

Any recommendations?

no, they make the horses sweat too much, not good at all imho. get a prolite, they are by far the best. according to my master saddler they have the best results in pliance pressure testing etc that they are doing on them all now, too.

Yay! Someone who is concidering a remedial item for the correct reasons... not because they think it looks good!

Personaly, I would save the money and use it to get her saddle re-flocked and the fit checked as she builds up. Even the squishyest pad in the world can't compensate for this.

Anyhow, as a stop gap, Limpet pads are breathable and shock absorbing, also those ones made out of cork grains (Like a beanbag) are good. It will only be needed for a short time.

Oh yes, correct reasons!!

The problem is a just had a Wintec 2000 as a stop-gap as saddler said its the best while shes still growing/changing so im going to need something!
