There was a very grippy and bobbly gel seat saver. It was gel and you could try it on their saddle
Friend now wants one but don't know who makes or sells it. Anyone help?

If they are the ones I'm thinking of, they always have them on the stall that does all the dead sheep stuff at YHL. Can't think of the name of the stall, but they do LeMieux and numed stuff.
They look really good.
I can see the blummin' stall in my head. I'll try and remember.

I have an Acavallo gel out seatsaver and it is brilliant. It is Horse Health Wessex that sell them...about £50???

Those that have one of these - can you still come out of the saddle easily when hacking i.e. if you want a gallop? The gel out ones are supposed to give you a more secure seat, just wondering about when you don't want to be glued to the saddle! Considering getting one for my albion jump to make it more comfy but thats my only quandry!

Hi I've got one. They are extremely comfy and yes you can rise up easily in them, to gallop or jump etc. It holds you more from any sudden sideways jolts or slips, its grippy more than sticky if that makes sense.

I bought an old ideal saddle which fits my horse beautifully but the leather is quite old and the seat is shiny. With the seat saver on its much more secure and protects the leather too.

The Horse Health store had them. Are you thinking of the acavallo gel out seat saver?

That's the one Thank you

yep thats it :)

Thanks to those who have said how they like them too!

Since I heard of the existence of 'sticky' seat savers, I seem to have spent a lot of time and thought trying to justify why I absolutely need one.... :o
