Do they work? I went on a hack today and was out longer than I originally planned and after about 90 minutes I became uncomfortable in the seating area ... I’ve come to the conclusion I’m getting old so do gel seat savers make a difference or do I need to go for the Queen style sheepskin job?

I have gel out seat savers on both my saddles. At the moment they are a godsend as my lower back is really sore after doing something unknown to it. I find they absorb a multitude of sins especially in a rider of my age who is as supple as a brick.

I hate my share horses gel out seat saver with a passion. The gel in and the sheepskin ones are ok though, with my preference being sheepskin, I find it comfier

I broke my back (not horse related) & the only way I could start riding again was to use a gel out seat saver on my big moving horse. He had a Dressage & a GP saddle so I bought a second one for the GP after trying one on the Dressage saddle. Don’t Dressage him any more & sold the saddle so I have a black Acavallo one for sale if you’re interested.
