hi saw an advert in a magazine that showed a gel that you put in the horses hoof that sets and stops anything getting in to the cracks and treating thrush at the same time, can't find the advert now and a friend now has a horse with a deep crack in frog with thrush who would be quite interested in looking at it, has anyone else heard of this or was i dreaming?
Thanks

Id be very interested to hear the rationale behind sealing off an anaerobic bacterial infection. To me that is counterproductive.

Use Sudocream - push well into all the cracks in the frog. Use after cleaning out hooves. This heals thrush and prevents it coming back and won't damage the tissues of the frog.

Ooooohhh but peroxide is so much more FUN!
