Gelding nursing

Has anyone ever dealt with weaning a mare and another horse starts nursing from her. He’s 5 years old we just got the filly off her and I was out side the other day for quite some time and looked over and my 5 year old gelding was nursing from her. Went and checked her and she is bagged up again. Any tips or tricks on how to get this to stop.

I would imagine the only way would be to separate them for a while, now he knows where the tasty stuff is.

Unusual for a 5yo - I’m surprised the mare let’s him!
You should separate them and let the mare dry up, shouldn’t take long.
