So Felix and his pal Cass are going to be done in the morning. Standing procedure - no GA. So only 2 hours of starvation. Which is still 1hr 55 mins too long according to greedy guts. Look at the size of his tummy! You wouldn’t think he’d wintered out unrugged.

Glad they are ok. The one I had done a couple of weeks ago had a bit of skin escape 😮 it looked awful but vet came back cleaned him up, pushed it back in and out a couple of stitches in. He had to go to the clinic where they scanned and were happy it wasn't his intestines 😮😮 so the next day , stiches out and they cut the dangly piece off. He's absolutely fine now,they do like to worry us.....

I had a horror story gelding recently too.

Reggie spent a weekend in the vets after losing a lot of blood and not clotting. It was like a scene from a horror movie. He's fine now - a little skinny but fine in himself.

Glad felix is out and happy in the field.
