Anyone used one of these?
Gel-Eze Gelee Front Riser saddle pad
or a Prolite adjustable Front Riser pad

I need a temporary soloution to see me through a few weeks for a high withered horse with slight muscle wastage at withers, but is wide through the ribs.

Any advice on the above. thanks! x

A friend bought a Gel-eze (I think that's what it's called) front riser saddle pad and it's fab, really brought the saddle up off his withers, horse is a TBx.

Definitely prolite - but that's because I don't really have experience of the gelee pad. The only thing I'd say about the gelee, if it is what I think it is (and I may be thinking of something different, sorry!) is that a friend tried one and it was very hard to make it central and also to make sure it didn't go flat and tight over the withers. Never had that problem with a prolite - mine never moved (like you, was using it as an interim measure) and was really well contoured to suit the horse.
