General horse riding problems

Just got my pony back after her being on loan for the past two and a half years and I have began to ride her again. Over the past few days I have noticed dramatic changes in the way she moves. Every transition is rushed, there is no composure, very head strong, I have been unsuccessful in making her extend any transition, and she shakes her head about frequently. I have noticed that she doesn't feel 100% in the back end, not as fluid as it should be, sort of stiff. People at my yard have watched the pony moving and have said it looks like she is moving the back right in more of an arched movement tracking up, rather than in straight line to track up. One of the people at the yard believes that there may be pain in her flank.

I am wondering if this would be the cause of the way the pony currently moves, others possible problems, or through the previous riders bad habits... Is there any that I could do to aid in the healing other than rest and light walking

I would get equine vet/ physio/chiropracter out initially also have you had saddle fit checked?

Agree with this, and I'd get her teeth checked too - her teeth might be sharp/causing her discomfort. Did she headshake before she went on loan/during the loan?
If she doesn't feel right behind, and people are saying her action is unusual, that needs to be checked out.
