I'm looking to get a 110V generator with LED floodlights to light my 20 x 40 arena but I'm not sure what to get. Anyone got any advice?

Have a look on the justgenerators website. Where are you going to keep it? I had to rely on a generator before I got mains electricity and, of course, I had one nicked. The next one I got, a cheapie, I bolted down so hard I now can't move it and it's surplus to requirements and in the way!

We have LED floodlights running on 240v, but we didn't want the hassle of lugging a generator about because of theft risk so ours are running on a leisure battery and a 240v inverter. It is completely silent in use, is about 9in x 4in and only cost £40. We built a little box where all the lighting cables meet and put the battery in there then just connect the inverter when we need it. The battery can be charged with a solar panel or taken home at weekends when it needs it.

We ran the system very successfully all last winter and will do the same this year.
