Does anyone use one and leave it at yard? If so how have you secured it? Or would you get one of the very small ones and travel it to and fro?
We have just taken a very secluded yard on that has been empty for some time and need electricity.

We have one but never leave it at our stables , just take it up for clipping etc. We manage the rest of the time with recargable tourches if we need to go there after dark.
I did know someone who sunk their generator in concrete at the bottom but it still got stolen

my friend had hers bolted to a concrete pad with a brick surround and then a padlocked lid.some-one tried to take it but was not successful.

Well for one of my yards we use a generator buts its a handy size sufficient for the job and we take it home everyday...without fail.. Its easy to carry and only cost approx. £60.00 at Nettos! would you believe...

Its now in its 2nd winter with us and still going strong (touch wood!) lol
