They show she has a chronic low-grade muscle inflammation, the site of which is unknown. All her vital organs are normal.

She's on danilon for the next 2-3 weeks and then we have her tested again. She can be worked as normal and slowly reintroduced to grass from tomorrow.

Looks like we're in it for the long haul.

Thanks for all the hugs and vibes, they are appreciated.

Glad to hear she is feeling better!
Strange blood results though, I wondered if it is possible that she has been bitten by a tick, and possible contracted Lyme disease? It has some weird symptoms, including high temperature and muscle fatigue.
I know when my horse had septicemia, lyme disease was mentioned early on. I am not aware of it in the area, and asked at the vets as my dog had a tick last month, but it is on the increase, and doesn't show on routine bloodtests, they have to test specifically for it.

Thanks everyone.

She had some time with Titchy today in the bullpen as she had not had equine company or contact since Friday morning. I gave them a haynet each to avoid squabbles, but they quite happily shared. :)

Everyone was amazed with how quiet they were in there together. They really do get on well together and Genie is a LOT more tolerant of Titchy than she is of other horses.
