As a middle-aged woman, I'm wearing nothing I can't easily take a wee in a field whilst wearing.

I've told this story before, but it's very appropriate to this thread so here goes.
A good few years ago, I had some time off work. I was exhausted so the first day I was planning a lazy day but had to put the horses out. I got up at 6.30 as normal, put jogging bottoms and a hoodie over my pyjamas and off I went to the yard. I threw the horses out, while the dog wandered round the field doing his business and then drove home looking forward to getting back to my bed. A mile from home, the car broke down.
4 hours later, I was sitting in the main dealership (car was still under warranty) in the middle of town still in my pyjamas, hoodie and jogging bottoms, the dog on my lap and no underwear. I've never left the house without a bra on since.

In the old days we were educated (?) by our mothers to always wear clean knickers, with out holes etc, incase we got run over and had to be taken to hospital by ambulance!!! This thought has stayed with me all my life!
